Research Group

The DPROM Research Group at UTM Senibina uses design expertise as a catalyst for progress in the built environment. We recognise the diverse disciplines, knowledge and skills within the design ecosystem that have led to countless innovations throughout history. Design plays a critical role in sourcing, transforming and delivering value, turning intangible concepts into tangible assets. Viewing design as a discipline allows us to explore its broader implications and applications that go beyond the traditional professions. By conceiving of design as a discipline, the research group aims to create positive socio-economic and cultural impacts for stakeholders and the public.
